Very quiet well presented hotel either friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and of an excellent standard. Very clean and comfortable. Very wide choice of food for breakfast including vegan and vegetarian choices. A huge array of shops close by. M&S, H&M, Primark,, plentiful restaurants, food shops, Pret, TK Maxx, Costa and the Churchill Sqare shopping centre and. book shops. Lots of music and theatre events. The beach is 5mins walking distance. It's clean and welcoming. Transportation is excellent with a wide range of buses and taxis which are very cheap.to travel around Brighton and Sussex. Only £2.00 each way on the bus to visit the next town Seaford several miles away. Amazing. Bus 6 outside M&S goes directly to Brighton rail station. Hotel has a lift and is smoke free..

Great location on the main road leading to Hove, opposite Preston Street - so great for restaurants - and a short walk from the seafront. There are many of the main retail chains eg M&S, Primark etc nearby. Whilst being on the main road there’s no traffic noise as rooms are set back behind a screening block. Fairly basic room but very clean and all you need for a night’s stay. Shower was very good. Clearly aimed at the student market but fine in off peak times. Breakfast was better than expected and included in the price- the staff kept on refilling eg the fresh fruit which was very good. Would consider staying again for an overnighter.

I had an amazing week. I was at the conference 15-20 April and it was quite hard to find a place for less than £100 per night. This hotel was a real value for money - I paid £397 for 5 night, breakfast included! I don’t really get why this hotel doesn’t have higher rating - the breakfast is amazing - lots of choices, hot and cold, the rooms are clean, there is a kettle and coffee in the room (most 3 star hotels don’t supply that), nights are quiet, it’s not crowded, and the staff is very friendly and helpful, even Wi-Fi was solid because usually hotel connections are rubbish. 10/10 recommend.

In Brighton to attend the Lib Dem Conference. The hotel was ideal for the conference, close to the Grand Hotel and the Brighton Centre, plus we could come and go as we pleased with a swipe card letting you into both the hotel and our room. Also close to some really good restaurants. Breakfast was good - nice variety of food and easy to serve yourself. I liked the request cleaning. As we were only there for a few days we didn't really need towels or bedding changing - the only thing we needed was more tea, coffee etc and that we could get from the front desk which was great.

Location was good, very close to shops etc, and not too far to walk to the front and pier either. The room was clean, basic, but functional. Asked for the room to be made up late one morning, and sure enough on our return later it had been done. On a second occasion however, the room was not made up as we requested. Breakfast was good, cereal or full english options. No fried eggs, hash browns or black pudding a little disappointing, but there was limited space on the hot counter so maybe is why these items were missing.
